In this time of necessary change and upheaval, so much can feel overwhelming, and it's easy to get caught in our heads. How can we intentionally create space for ourselves to keep going? How can we work with our bodies and emotions to prevent burnout and fatigue before it happens? What are ways that we can support our need for rest and restoration?
Throughout our living and learning - and especially on the journey of creating change - our bodies hold on to stress and emotion. This is where we can choose to continue this work of self growth and large scale change through an embodied practice.
In this 4-class series we will explore the essence of embodiment and processing through movement. We'll work with techniques and sequences that promote release and working through discomfort, practice how to to hold space for stillness and listening, and work with both energizing and restorative yoga practices to support the body’s changing needs.
Each class is a brand new practice with lots of options/adjustments offered to meet you where you are. Throughout the series we'll approach the work of processing and release through asana (physical yoga practice), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and guided relaxation.
